Bathrobes Can be Funky and Fun!

Bathrobes are used by just about everyone, especially at home. Of course they are also used after taking a dip at the beach or after a swim in the pool. You need a new bathrobe, but you want to ‘stand out’- not be an invisible member of the herd. If you are lounging at home and someone comes to the door, you still want to look hot!
Since bathrobes come in a variety of styles you first need to decide on the ‘look’ you want to project. Do you want to be mysterious? Try a hooded robe, with the hood pulled up. The hooded robes are available in terrycloth, silk, rayon, short or long, solid colors or print. First decide if you want long or short, then choose a material, finally look for the one that screams ‘YOU’.
Maybe you want to portray opulence or luxury. Look at the silk bathrobes. Throughout time silk has signaled wealth and a luxurious living style. Today’s’ silk robes are available in many styles and prints. If you are trying to portray luxury, go for the understated look.
Perhaps you just want to look ‘hot’! In this case, you would want to select a short robe with a sash tie and a bold color. Red is always a good color for the ‘hot’ look, followed by black or bright blue. Achieving this look requires both make-up and combed hair, or the tousled ‘just-got-out-of-bed’ look.
How about the ‘little girl’ look? The best bathrobe for this look is a large, long terrycloth robe that just engulfs you. With this robe on you will be magically transformed into ‘daddies’ little girl!
Now that your closet is filled with bathrobes for every look you want to project, I’m sure that you still have your ‘favorite’ robe stashed somewhere. You know the one. It’s that robe you have had for years; it is almost threadbare, way too big, and the most comfortable item you have ever put on! You can still wear this robe when you are sure that no one will see you!
